Pollinators are essential to our environment and play a crucial role in healthy agricultural and natural landscapes. Please join the Tippecanoe Soil & Water Conservation District at our Annual Meeting & Dinner. Learn about the decline in pollinators and discover how you can “bee” friendlier and help “Bring Back the Pollinators”!

Doors will open at 5:45 pm for check-in and the event will begin with dinner being served at 6:00 pm. The pork barbeque meal is being prepared by Shoup’s Country Foods Catering, a family-owned business from Frankfort, Indiana.

The evening will consist of a very brief business meeting, a supervisor election and the presentation of conservation awards. Adding to the excitement of this year’s meeting and back by popular demand is Dr. Tom Turpin!

Dr. Turpin is the creator of Purdue University’s “Bug Bowl,” a celebration of insect antics, annually drawing over 12,000 visitors. Turpin has been featured in Time and People magazines and has appeared on “Good Morning America,” the “Guinness World Record Show” and the “Prairie Home Companion.” He is a professor of entomology in Purdue’s College of Agriculture.

Be sure to bring the kids and join us on March 15th for an interesting and entertaining evening! The cost of the dinner is only $10, plus online processing fee.
