Not sure what plants to order?  Why not pick up "An Indiana Landowner's Guide to Native

Prairie Plants"?  This is an easy to use guide that could help you identify 65 of Indiana’s most common

prairie species.  Plan your habitat or wildflower garden by bloom time so you can have showy flowers all

year-round!  The publication sells for $40 and was compiled by our own Rural Conservationist, Megan

Benage.  If you would like to purchase a copy, please drop us an email or stop by the office.

You might find yourself asking.....Why native?

Native plants do not need to be watered or weeded as much as some exotic horticultural plants. Native plants can add color and vibrancy to your landscape as well as providing micro-habitats for our native bees, birds, and butterflies! Going native means you have concern for our environment and are helping to preserve remnant species with 100 feet of garden or 10 acres of landscape. Thank you for helping us to get more conservation on the land!
